I’m not sure what it is, but travel has a way of opening
your eyes and expanding your horizons - even a journey to those places you feel
you already know. Just when you think you’ve got a handle on things, you dig a
little deeper and discover a whole new layer - perhaps learning something brand
new about yourself along the way.
I often talk about how important it is to get out of our
comfort zones in our business, but this is equally true about the world we live
in. Travel isn’t just a way to learn about other people and places, it’s an
opportunity to see our world back home through the eyes of another. And that’s
one of the reasons I would be booking my ticket to spend some time with these
fired up Canadians at the Vancouver Turning Point this June – you may just get
some perspective on your business that you weren’t expecting.
For you Canadians reading this, I just want to say we appreciate
the warm welcome we always get from you guys. Now if we could just figure out
how to warm the place in winter!
It’s a good life!
