We live in a culture that says you can either be successful. Or be happy. But you can't be both. Our community of folks who are working by referral would tend to disagree.

Today I presented to a bunch of folks here in Victoria, B.C. and what a fantastic location - right on the water with the fresh sea air to get us fired up and ready for work. We'll be up here in British Columbia for the next few days visiting Vancouver, Surrey and Kelowna and if you haven't been, this is a part of the world well worth a visit. Beautiful scenery, friendly people, great wines!

Another thing Western Canada has going for it right now is optimism. Canadians are upbeat about the future...according to a recent RBC poll, 90% are confident about real estate as an investment and 85% believe they are doing a good or excellent job paying their mortgage.

Nothing new here...you've heard me say it before but more focus on the positive and less on the negative is the way to stay motivated and inspired about the job you do. The good stories are out there - you just have to look and listen. 4,183 of our Members just completed the Blitz. You won't see it on TV tonight but in just 12 weeks they generated 16 referrals each, closed over 14,000 transactions, and earned $126 million in commissions - or $30,127 per Member. We find what we're looking for!

I went for a walk in Hartford, CT, with my daughter, Anna, this evening - a long way from our home in San Diego. The team and myself are here for our Success Seminars throughout the region and I was reminded again how enormously vast this country is. We flew all day...yet were still in America! In Ireland, no matter where you are, you're never very far from the coast - all of the coasts!

So all this week I'll be speaking with folks from all across the Eastern seaboard - people who've taken time out of their busy schedules to spend a morning learning, connecting with their peers, and investing time into their business. We still have a few seats so I want to ask you this question...could you do with some more business? Could you use some tips and how-tos on finding and cultivating high-quality leads? Do you want to be surrounded by like-minded folks who have high energy and a positive attitude toward this business?

The Blitzmaster himself, Joe Niego, is on his way to Monterey for the Turning Point but not before he got you Blitzers revved up. After 12 weeks of pushing hard I'm sure you're ready for the finish line, but keep your heads down and get through the final week's activities we've laid out for you.

The results so far have been incredible - you Blitzers always exceed expectations and this Blitz has been no different: thousands of referrals given and received, hundreds of thousands of notes, calls and Pop-Bys. And don't forget...you've worked hard and got it done but take time to celebrate. You're already ahead and it's only the second quarter!
