Working hard and giving thanks.

How was your Thanksgiving weekend? I hope you got a chance to unwind and spend time with loved ones. We had a great time with Bev’s family in Atlanta...and then we got back on the horse and headed north for two fantastic days in Toronto. What a great time we all had – thanks to the hundreds of you who joined us for the Turning Point.

In these days of heavy and not often positive news reporting I wanted to be the Buffini & Company journalist for a moment and share some great news...the Year End Sprint, our last lead-generation Blitz of the year, just ended and the numbers are in:

Sprint

In just six weeks you closed over 5,500 transactions! Congrats to you all...way to go and fantastic numbers at a time when the media would have you believe the sky is falling. Yes times are tougher, but you’ve got your head down working hard and being diligent with those customers you serve. That’s what this business is all about.

It's a good life!

My friend Joe.

This week Joe Niego and I were in New York presenting to a large audience of fired up realtors, lenders and service professionals – over 900 business professionals together in a room for two full days doing nothing but learning and working on their businesses. Diligently. At the Turning Point, Joe and I share presenting duties and as I watched my friend from backstage during one of his sessions, I reflected on this industry and how things have been in recent years.

I’ll be honest, I felt very good for what’s in store.

Joe is bringing our Success Seminar training events to audiences across North America and I couldn’t be more pleased for the industry. I consider him to be the best in the business. And I’m not just saying that because he’s my friend! His depth of knowledge and experience is incredible…and the industry has been benefitting from it for some time. It's about to benefit a whole lot more.

Thing is, we’re just getting started! The all-new Success Seminar is going to blow your doors off with relevant and timely industry insights, tips on short sales, and practical know-how on buyers and sellers. I can’t wait to attend myself!

It's just one of the reasons why I’m so proud of Joe and what he’s bringing to the industry. It’s good to have a friend you look up to. He’s a tall one.

It’s a good life!

See you at NAR!

This coming Saturday morning I'll be in Anaheim, California to present at NAR's Realtors Conference and Expo, and I've got to say that I'm really looking forward to sharing some timely information with the many folks from across North America who are making the trek there.

And good on you for doing so!

This year's event has a powerful theme: Seize the Day - something I agree completely with. This is the time to be proactive; not the time to sit back waiting for things to happen. Real estate agents comprise such a large and entrepreneurial force in this country (and is one of the few groups of people so readily in touch with the public/the pulse of the nation) that it should almost be in the job description to be out there bringing energy and a great attitude to the people we meet every day!

So let's get out there and get people excited about real estate. Let's get them excited about the opportunties. Let's get out there and seize the day. I'm fired up. And I'm ready for work...I'll see you Saturday!

It's a good life!
